When the design is ready, SightLine turns it into a client-ready PDF, a quick printout or a spreadsheet.

Map export to PDF

  1. Click Map export to PDF in the top bar (it is also in the More ▾ menu).
  2. If some cameras aren't on a switch yet, SightLine says which. Pick their switches first, or click Export anyway.
  3. Choose where to save the PDF. SightLine suggests your Downloads folder.
  4. Wait while it draws the maps and camera views. The PDF opens in your PDF viewer when it is ready.

The PDF contains:

The footer of every page carries the site name, the date, the revision (if you saved one) and, if you filled them in, your company and name from Settings.

Tip Save a revision before you send a PDF out (More ▾ → Revisions (save / restore)…). The revision letter then appears on the report, so everyone knows which version they have.

Quick print of the map

Choose More ▾ → Quick print of the map for a fast printout: the map as it is on screen, a header with the site and your company, a short camera table and the disclaimer. It opens the Windows print window, where you can also pick "Microsoft Print to PDF".

Camera schedule (CSV)

Choose More ▾ → Export camera schedule (CSV), or click Export CSV in the Schedule panel. The file opens in Excel or any spreadsheet app. It has one row per camera, including its location, and the disclaimer at the end. Lengths use the units shown on the ft / m button. The PDF report does too.

Your company details and disclaimer

Open Settings (on the home screen, or More ▾ → Settings…):

To go back to the standard text, clear the box and click Save.

Note Reports show the SightLine logo. The logo you can choose in Settings is for the trucks and buses in the 3D traffic view, not for reports.
